Opening Activities cannot be made up. If brought to class the next day, an excused tardy or absence will excuse you from the missed points.
Pay Attention. Talking during lessons is rude and a bad habit. Asking a question and then not listening to the answer is beyond the pale!
Do Your Own Work. Eventually people will get tired of your freeloading. By that time you will have missed so much that minimum wage is about all you should expect to make.
Be Responsible. If you are having difficulty, accept responsibility and take steps to correct the problem.
If you need extra help, get it. Students who insist that the whole class wait while they catch up because they were distracted demonstrate a very self centered and immature character.
Electronics and Food:Cell phones; MP3, games, cameras, etc are banned. No eating or drinking in class. (Except Water)
Calculators: Any basic calculator that can do roots and logs will be great for Algebra 1 and for Intermediate Algebra. TI 84 calculators are recommended for Algebra 2. Students may NOT use the calculators on their phone
Emergency Passes: 3 emergency passes are awarded at the beginning of each semester. These are used for rest room, nurse, office, another class, etc. When you run out you may not leave class.
