California has established standards for Algebra 1 and Algebra 2. These standards make the basis on which the State assessment tests are created and schools are judged. Our school is tested on how well students have mastered this material.
I saw this on a Tee Shirt! at www.whatonearthcatalog.com
CalPass has produced documents for that spells out what each standard requires and gives examples of problems to check for mastery.
Each year the state of California retires certain questions from the current version of the star tests.
These documents show how much of the Star Test will be dedicated to each standard. For example, the Algebra 2 test also includes questions from the Statistics Standards.
